Dekmar Ltd is the Scotland's largest end-of-life fishing net and rope recycler (150-200t annually) operating a fully circular recycling process. Based near Fraserburgh, we specialise in the collection, processing, and recycling of end-of-life nets, ropes/ marine plastics, transforming them back into high-quality polymer for reuse.
Our closed-loop operation helps prevent marine plastic waste from entering the environment or being landfilled, while supporting a more sustainable option for these complex materials. Through innovation, scale, and responsible recycling, Dekmar Ltd plays a leading role in advancing the circular economy for marine plastics. We are a circular company that is turning old nets and ropes into pellets then products through injection moulding and also making composite decking out of the net pellets and wood dust.
